Getting Started

Getting Started on Your New Website

The following is a general step by step explanation to help you understand what we need to do to get you up and going on the internet.

Web site development includes:

• Initial consultation with the customer

• Domain name selection and registration

• Selection of a reliable website hosting service

• Custom website design

• Copywriting

• Search engine optimization

• Search engine submissions

• Website maintenance (additional fees apply)

Planning - If you have not already done so, you should take some time to think about what you want to accomplish with your website. Determine if you will need any special functionality or interactivity with your visitors. Also consider the type of design style that appeals to you. Ask us about our form to help you organize your thoughts.

When you’re ready, please contact us at 406-203-4200 and request a free, no-obligation website consultation.

Consultation - We%26apos;ll talk about your requirements, discuss preliminary feature sets, and sketch out the site%26apos;s graphical concepts. Based on this conversation, we%26apos;ll recommend a general go-forward strategy.

Proposal and Plan - Once we understand your needs we will outline the scope of the project, estimate work duration and effort, and provide you with an estimated completion date and price. Note: completion dates are always contingent on the timely receipt of any required material from the client (i.e.., graphics, text, etc.)

Website Development Agreement - Once we have come to an agreement on project details and price, we will prepare a website development agreement for you to review, sign, and send back with your deposit.

Initial Deposit - The signed agreement and a 50%25 deposit is required before we can begin your project. The balance will be due just prior to publishing your new website. Once we have received your 50%25 deposit and signed agreement, we will provide you with a copy of the fully executed agreement, a receipt for your deposit, and your project start date.

Gather Your Content - You should then gather up all images, text, and links that you want as part of your Website. This may include contact information, location, hours, logos, and testimonials.

We will also provide a list of items that we will need from you over the course of development. You will need to let us know the navigation links you would like (such as home, about us, services, etc.) and supply text and/or product information you want included on your site. In addition, you may also supply material such as company logo, personal photos, etc.
