Linda Baumann%26apos;s career in marketing spans over 2 decades in radio, televison, newspaper and organizations. In March of 2006, she began Marketplace Media with the mission of improving the marketing efforts of local businesses. Linda%26apos;s diverse career and insatiable interest in selling strategies and technologies has helped her to amass vast knowledge of the marketing, creative, and management disciplines. Linda leads all of our clients%26apos; initiatives—from marketing research, strategic development, branding and media direction through creative strategy, event marketing, Internet initiatives and production. Linda recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of her clients and develops programs that help highlight their benefits for their customers. Her assistance results in increased business growth, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Linda is a %26quot;people person%26quot; who works passionately and single-mindedly to take her client%26apos;s message to the marketplace. For over 13 years in Missoula, Linda held the positions of General Manager at the Messenger, a weekly publication with a 36,000 home-delivered distribution and at Continental Television (later purchased by Max Media), overseeing the operations and sales of mulitple ABC, WB and FOX broadcast television affiliates in Missoula, Kalispell, Butte and Bozeman, MT. Prior to moving to Missoula, Linda gained her experience in radio and newspaper for 12 years in Eureka, CA as a sales rep, sales manager and publisher. She%26apos;s a marketing and advertising fanatic, a Missoula Chamber and Business Women%26apos;s Network member, a %26apos;94 graduate of Leadership Missoula, a past board member of the Missoula City/County Animal Control, American Cancer Society, and March of Dimes and a current Board Member of the Missoula YWCA. Originally from Chicago, IL, Linda and her husband, Charlie, have five children, two grandchildren, and enjoy Grizzly football season as well as precious time spent relaxing in the mountains of Seeley Lake, MT and on the ocean in Seaside, OR.
