Missoula International Airport is served by major airlines providing convenient non-stop service to major hub cities with direct service to hundreds of destinations worldwide and is one of the busiest airports in Montana. By the year 2015, the number of passengers is expected to double to over one million passengers per year. in 2007, the Missoula International Airport faces a unique challenge when they have to shut down the main runway for required maintenance. Cris Jensen, Airport Director, knew there%26apos;s never a good time to close an airport, and as part of the effort to keep the public informed and minimize inconvenience to travelers, the airport hired us to launch a major multi-media campaign. We developed a media plan and produced radio and TV commercials, newspaper ads and press releases to minimize inconvenience to travelers by informing them well ahead of the series of three airport closures so they could rearrange travel plans.
